We only have today. What are you going to do with it?

Live More. Fear Less. End in MindLife is unpredictable and so is death. We all have an expiration date though we don’t know exactly when that “use by” date is. So, at End in Mind, we want you to live with purpose and intention all the way through the end of your life. We also hope you’ll have honest conversations about how you want the end to go. That’s where we can help.

Sharing stories plays a big part in these conversations. We feel storytelling has the power to change lives. Stories are a way to connect and to learn and understand more about yourself and others.

We use storytelling in our new podcast to spark deeper conversation about living and dying well. We use storytelling in our community work too, in special events that use the arts, and in our developing suite of online tools.

Join the End in Mind MovementWe know our programs work. In more than 1200 participant surveys collected in our community work, 99% of attendees reported feeling more motivated to talk with loved ones about end-of-life planning and 60% indicate they had these conversations since attending our events.

It takes energy, focus and financial support to grow this work and be there for people like you wading through life’s big questions and tough conversations.

To fund End in Mind for this coming year, it will take $500,000. We have some work to do to get there!

When we raise $50,000 with contributions from Give to the Max Day and our fall appeal, we will be able to:
Give to the Max Day

  • Launch a national podcast series
  • Develop digital tools like a next generation advance care plan, online portal access to resources supporting these conversations and the ability to share your personal stories
  • Train and equip staff to have supportive conversations with those grappling with life’s big questions

Our founder, Cathy Wurzer, spent hours with Bruce Kramer, a University of St. Thomas Dean and inspiration for our work, as he shared his life and eventual death due to ALS. Bruce believed in the value of conversation, connection, and community. We do too.

Today, our organization uses the tools of thoughtful discussion among experts, community leaders, and people like you, along with live music, poetry, artwork, and personal stories to shine a light on what it truly means to live with the End in Mind.

We only have today, so what are you going to do with it?
